Ida is labeled a transitional fossil by evolutionists. Upon release it was described as the eighth wonder of the world.** Jørn Hurum* is the evolution crackpot who popularized Ida, and even named it after his big idol; Darwinius.* After he saw its photographs he said he couldn't sleep for two nights and described Ida as the scientific equivalent of the Holy Grail.**** He said that Ida is very comparable to some of the most significant fossils that have been described like Lucy, the Neanderthals, Tyrannosaurus rex and Archaeopteryx. It’s a really important specimen that will become an icon of evolution.** The Guardian said that it provides unprecedented insight into our ancestry.** In the same article fanatic evolutionist David Attenborough said: This little creature is going to show us our connection with the rest of all the mammals; with cows and sheep, and elephants and anteaters. All this is of course hilarious. But what about reality?

Of course any so-called transitional fossil is based on metaphysics, not on science. Ida was just a lemur. If fossil Ida is dated to 47 million years, then this would only prove that lemurs haven't changed one bit, and there was zero macroevolution, for at least 47 million years. Nils Christian Stenseth called the fossil an exaggerated hoax and stated that its presentation and popular dissemination fundamentally violate scientific principles and ethics.* Ida turned out to be the typical evolutionary just-so story. That's how evolution is sold to the world.

A good summary of the Ida hoax, a lemur fossil. In the photo Hurum shows his beloved Ida to Michael Bloomberg and David Young at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, one of the many temples of the Darwin cult. The evolution myth means big business to the world of mainstream science and to the self-styled "scientists". The Guardian reported that Hurum convinced the University of Oslo to buy the fossil — which had an asking price of $1m — based only on seeing three high quality photographs of it. He also said: I'm paid by the tax payers of Norway to do this research.** Jørn Hurum is a fraud, but also an evolutionist, so it's okay from evolution-infested mainstream science point of view.
