musliMANIA
Paradise for perverts
Women's rights in Islamic countries are inferior to men's rights. Discrimination against women is evident when Islam is the source of legislation.** The application of Sharia varies significantly across different Muslim-majority countries.** Let's investigate more in the Quran and Hadith...
Beating a wife
The History of Al-Tabari Volume 9: The Last Years of the Prophet
Now then, O people, you have a right over your wives and they have a right over you. You have [the right] that they should not cause anyone of whom you dislike to tread on your beds; and that they should not commit any open indecency. If they do, then Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain from [evil], they have the right to their food and clothing in accordance with the custom. Treat women well, for they are [like] domestic animals with you and do not possess anything for themselves.**
This is from Muhammad's farewell sermon. Woman are like "domestic animals" which may be beaten. But not "severely" which is of course open to interpretation.
Quran 4:34
Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with. And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺. But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.
The Quran displays a wife as the possession of a man and supports disciplining one's wife. Instead of the word "discipline" other Quran translations use "beat", "strike" or "hit".** The word "gently" is added between brackets as this word is not present in the original text. The "Notes on Translation" of the Clear Quran by Dr. Mustafa Khattab say:Half brackets ˹˺ indicate words inserted into the English which do not directly correspond to Arabic words in the original text.** And the word "gently" is of course open to interpretation.
Sunnah Hadith Sunan Abi Dawud 2147 - Regarding Hitting Women
The Prophet said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.*
That's clear language.
Wives and sex
Quran 2:223
Your wives are like farmland for you, so approach them ˹consensually˺ as you please. And send forth something good for yourselves. Be mindful of Allah, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers.
In the Quran a man's wife is likened to farmland. It is like fertile soil ready for sowing seeds into. Note that "consensually" is again between brackets, meaning that it is not included in the original text.
The Meaning of the Noble Qu'ran - Footnote 249, page 28
Sex is not a thing to be ashamed of, or to be treated lightly, or to be indulged to excess. It is as solemn a fact as any in life. It is compared to a husbandman's tilth; it is a serious affair to him; he sows the seed in order to reap the harvest. But he chooses his own time and mode of cultivation. He does not sow out of season nor cultivate in a manner which will injure or exhaust the soil. He is wise and considerate and does not run riot.*
Apparently Muslim men can "sow" whenever they choose to. Of course this doesn't mean that all Muslim men abuse these words and their wives, but it does mean that Muslim men can more easily do it if they choose to. How will a woman prove that her husband abuses her when it's done in private, without eyewitnesses, and the man has more rights than the woman anyway?
Sunnah Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 5066 - Whoever is not able to marry, is recommended to fast
We were with the Prophet (...) while we were young and had no wealth. So Allah's Messenger (...) said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.)..."*
Sunnah Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 5151 - The conditions stipulated in marriage (contract)
The Prophet (...) said: "The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).*
Eventhough the Quran clearly states that it is not permissible for mento inherit women against their will(Quran 4:19) and that marriage is supposed to be consensual, the Hadith pressures people to marry at a young age in order for the men to not commit illegal sexual intercourse. Again the Hadith focuses on the man and his needs, not on those of the woman. And no wonder that marital rape remains effectively legal across Muslim countries.**
Child marriage
Quran 65:4a
As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well. As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery. And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them.
The Quran talks about the waiting period, or iddah, for women before they can get married or remarried. Tafsir Asbab Al-Nuzul by Al-Wahidi further explains the phraseand those who have not menstruated as well...
Tafsir Asbab Al-Nuzul by Al-Wahidi - Sura 65:4
‘O Messenger of Allah, what is the waiting period of the woman who does not menstruate and the woman who has not menstruated yet? ...’ And so Allah, exalted is He, revealed this verse”.*
That means that Quran 65:4 states that young girls are ready for marriage and sex even before they started menstruating. Imam Abul Ala Maududi also offers an explanation...
Islamic Studies - Towards understanding the Qur'an: Surah 65:4
They may not have menstruated as yet either because of young age, or delayed menstrual discharge as it happens in the case of some women, or because of no discharge at all throughout life which, though rare, may also be the case. ... Therefore, making mention of the waiting-period for the girls who have not yet menstruated, clearly proves that it is not only permissible to give away the girl in marriage at this age but it is also permissible for the husband to consummate marriage with her. It goes without saying that no Muslim has the right to forbid a thing which the Qur'an has held as permissible.*
Consummation is the first sexual intercourse after marriage. Muslims allow men to marry young girls who have not yet menstruated and have sex with them. See also WikiIslam's Child Marriage in the Qur'an.*
Wikipedia - Puberty
Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child's body matures into an adult body capable of sexual reproduction. .... On average, girls begin puberty at ages 10-11; boys at ages 11-12. Girls usually complete puberty by ages 15-17, while boys usually complete puberty by ages 16-17. The major landmark of puberty for females is menarche, the onset of menstruation, which occurs on average between ages 12-13; for males, it is the first ejaculation, which occurs on average at age 13. In the 21st century, the average age at which children, especially girls, reach puberty is lower compared to the 19th century, when it was 15 for girls and 16 for boys.
Between the ages of 10 and 19, girls navigate a complex journey from childhood to womanhood, experiencing physical transformations alongside emotional and psychological growth.** Any morally sane person will admit that puberty is not a good time for a girl to get married, let alone get pregnant and raise children. Muslims do not handle this question rationally or morally but ideologically.
Child marriage happens most in Islamic countries.
Muhammad and Aisha
Sunnah Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 5134 - The marrying of a daughter by her father to a ruler
That the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old.*
Sunnah Hadith Sunan Abu Dawud 2121 - Regarding The Marriage Of The Young
Narrated Aishah: The Messenger of Allah married me when I was seven years old. The narrator Sulaiman said: or Six years. He had intercourse with me when I was nine years old.*
Fatawa Islamiyah Volume 5: The Book of Marriage - The Suitable Age For Marriage (page 169)
The Prophet married A'ishah ... when he was fifty-three years old and she was a girl of nine years old. So being older does not harm. ... He married A'ishah ... when she was small - six or seven years old and he consummated the marriage with her when she was nine years old...*
Most Hadith sources state that Aisha was married to Muhammad at the age of six and stayed in her parents' house until the age of nine. Muhammad was 53 years old. Aisha was a little child and Muhammad was old enough to be her grandfather when they married. Now watch a so-called Muslim scholar, Zakir Naik, defend this practice...

Sex slavery and rape
Libre Texts - 4.2: TransSaharan Slave Trade
In contrast to the Atlantic slave trade, where the male-female ratio was 2:1 or 3:1, the Arab slave trade instead usually had a higher female-to-male ratio. This suggests a general preference for female slaves. Concubinage and reproduction served as incentives for importing female slaves (often Caucasian), though many were also imported mainly for performing household tasks.*
According to Muslim theologians, it is lawful for male masters to have sexual relations with female captives and slaves regardless of whether or not the slave woman gave her consent.*** The purchase of female slaves for sex was lawful from the perspective of Islamic law, and this was the most common motive for the purchase of slaves throughout Islamic history.
Sunnah Hadith Sunan Abi Dawud 2155 - Regarding Intercourse With Captives
Abu Said al-Khudri said: "The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess". That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period."*
This is the story of one of Muhammad's fighters asking Muhammad the question whether the men are allowed to rape the slave women they had captured earlier while their husbands, regarded as unbelievers, were still alive and in the vicinity. The phrase "what your right hands possess" is a reference in the Quran to slaves. Muhammad answered them by mentioning the following verse from the Quran...
Quran 4:24
Also ˹forbidden are˺ married women—except ˹female˺ captives in your possession. This is Allah’s commandment to you. Lawful to you are all beyond these—as long as you seek them with your wealth in a legal marriage, not in fornication. Give those you have consummated marriage with their due dowries. It is permissible to be mutually gracious regarding the set dowry. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Muhammad explicitly allows his men to rape helpless slave women. Apparently Allah sent a verse specifically for allowing the rape of slave women. The Quran verse says that Muslim men are not allowed to marry already married women, except when those married women are also slave women.
Sunnah Hadith Sahih Muslim 1438 c - The ruling on coitus interrupts
Abu Said al-Khudri reported: We took women captives, and we wanted to do 'azl with them. We then asked Allah's Messenger about it, and he said to us: Verily you do it, verily you do it, verily you do it, but the soul which has to be born until the Day of judgement must be born.*
Azl, also known as coitus interruptus, is the practice of having sexual intercourse with a woman but withdrawing the penis before ejaculation.** Muhammad's men ask him whether it is allowed to have sex with the women without ejaculating inside them. They didn't want to bear the responsibility for children and if a woman was pregnant she was worth less and couldn't be used for sex. Muhammad saysVerily you do it, verily you do it, verily you do itand he urges the men to ejaculate inside the women.
Sunnah Hadith Sahih Muslim 1438 d - The ruling on coitus interrupts
Abu Said al-Khudri (was asked if he had heard it himself), to which he said: Yes. (I heard) Allah's Apostle as saying: There is no harm if you do not practise it, for it (the birth of the child) is something ordained (by Allah).*
Muhammad says that it is up to Allah whether women will get pregnant and that it is therefore not their responsibility. This is absolutely horrible for the women that underwent this barbaric treatment, ordained by a barbaric leader. There are more stories like this one. According to Sunan Abi Dawud...
Sunnah Hadith Sunan Abi Dawud 2172 - Regarding 'Azl (Withdrawing Before Ejaculation)
We went out with the Apostle of Allah on the expedition to Banu Al Mustaliq and took some Arab women captive and we desired the women for we were suffering from the absence of our wives and we wanted ransom, so we intended to withdraw the penis (while having intercourse with the slave women). But we asked ourselves “can we draw the penis when the Apostle of Allah is among us before asking him about it? So we asked him about it. He said “it does not matter if you do not do it, for very soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.”*
According to Muhammad it doesn't matter if married Muslim men rape some slave women and produce bastard offspring, neither does it matter that these men are married and basically cheat on their wives. Raping slave women and ejaculating inside them is allowed according to Muhammad because it is up to Allah to decide when and whether it produces offspring. Centuries of such behaviour inevitably led to countless bastards in the Muslim world.
