God's Kingdom
God's people and His chosen ones
Luke 16:16 (TS2009)
The Torah and the prophets are until Yohanan. Since then the reign of Elohim is being announced, and everyone is doing violence upon it.
The Old Testament consists of the Law and the Prophets and these ended with John the Baptist. Since the Messiah and the New Testament the Kingdom of God is preached.
The Abrahamic covenant

Genesis 12:1-3 (TS2009)
And YHWH said to Abram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. “And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing! “And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.”
The first covenant made by God was with Abraham.
Genesis 17:19 (TS2009)
“And Elohim said, “No, Sarah your wife is truly bearing a son to you, and you shall call his name Yitshaq. And I shall establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
The covenant with Abraham was confirmed by God with his son Isaac.
Genesis 28:3-4,14 (TS2009)
And El Shaddai bless you, and make you fruitful and increase you, and you shall become an assembly of peoples,” and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and your seed with you, so that you inherit the land of your sojournings, which Elohim gave to Abraham.” ... “And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall break forth to the west and to the east, to the north and the south. And all the clans of the earth shall be blessed in you and in your seed.
The covenant trickled down via Abraham's son Isaac to his grandson Jacob and his descendents. Jacob was later named Israel (Genesis 32:28) and he had twelve sons which would become the twelve tribes of Israel. Their descendents spread throughout the world.
The Mosaic covenant

Exodus 19:3-6 (TS2009)
And Mosheh went up to Elohim, and YHWH called to him from the mountain, saying, “This is what you are to say to the house of Yaaqob, and declare to the children of Israel: ‘You have seen what I did to the Mitsrites, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. ‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – ‘and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Israel.”
God reveals Himself to Moses on Mount Sinai and gives him the Ten Commandments. This event marks the beginning of a series of laws and regulations that God gives to the Israelites through Moses. These laws cover a wide range of topics, including worship, sacrifice, hygiene, and dietary restrictions. The covenant established the priesthood, with Aaron and his descendants serving as priests to the Israelites. It established the concept of atonement for sin, which is achieved through sacrifices and offerings, foreshadowing the ultimate sacrifice by the Blood of the Lamb, the Messiah.
The renewed covenant

John 2:18-22
YHWSO answered and said to them, “Destroy this Dwelling Place, and in three days I shall raise it.” ... He spoke about the Dwelling Place of His body.
The Body of the Messiah became the Holy Temple. He became theHigh Priest over the House of Elohim(Hebrews 10:21, Hebrews 5:5-6) Who sits at the right hand of God (Psalms 110). The Messiah said...
Matthew 5:17 (TS2009)
Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete.
The Son of God completed the old Mosaic covenant. Paul explains...
Hebrews 9:1,11-12,15,24 (TS2009)
Now the first covenant indeed had regulations of worship and the earthly set-apart place. ... But Messiah, having become a High Priest of the coming good matters, through the greater and more perfect Tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, entered into the Most Set-apart Place once for all, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, having obtained everlasting redemption. ... And because of this He is the Mediator of a renewed covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance. ... For Messiah has not entered into a Set-apart Place made by hand – figures of the true – but into the heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of Elohim on our behalf,
With the sacrifice of the Messiah the Mosaic covenant was fullfilled.
The lost sheep of Israel

Matthew 10:5-7 (TS2009)
YHWSO sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronim, but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. “And as you go, proclaim, saying, ‘The reign of the heavens has drawn near.’
Matthew 15:24 (TS2009)
And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
The Messiah was sent to bring the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all descendents of Israel, of the twelve tribes coming from Jacob, not to the other nations. He gave this task also to His twelve disciples. At the time of the Messiah the Israelites had spread throughout the Greek and Roman empire. With the death of His disciples that work was completed. With the Messiah's first coming the first age was completed and a new age began...
The nations
Acts 13:46-47 (TS2009)
But speaking boldly, Shaul and Barnaba said, “It was necessary that the word of Elohim should be spoken to you first, but since you thrust it away, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, see, we turn to the nations. For so the Master has commanded us, ‘I have set you to be a light to the nations, that you should be for deliverance to the ends of the earth.’
Romans 11:11b-14 (TS2009)
... But by their fall deliverance has come to the nations, to provoke them to jealousy. And if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the nations, how much more their completeness! For I speak to you, the nations, inasmuch as I am an emissary to the nations, I esteem my service, if somehow I might provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.
Because many Israelites rejected the Messiah and His disciples, God spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all people in the world with the purpose of bringing back the Israelites by means of jealousy. Clearly, the nations are all people that are not part of the Israelites. Paul was an Israelite, he said about himself:circumcised the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Binyamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews, according to Torah a Pharisee(Philippians 3:5). Paul spoke to the nations that were not of his flesh, not descendents of the Israelites. So God's people can also come from the other nations of the world. See also Acts 10:9-47 and Acts 17:24-31. God wants to save all people (Joel 2:32, 1 Timothy 2:4).
Romans 2:28-29 (TS2009)
For he is not a Yehudi who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But a Yehudi is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.
Being a true Jew, or one of God's people, depends on the person's heart and spirit.
Galatians 3:6-7 (TS2009)
Even so Abraham “did believe Elohim, and it was reckoned unto him as righteousness.” Know, then, that those who are of belief are sons of Abraham.
This clearly confirms that God's people can come from all the nations. The spiritual lineage is more important than any physical lineage. See also John 8:31-44 where the Messiah makes that very clear.
Romans 10:9-10 (TS2009)
That if you confess with your mouth the Master YHWSO and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved.
Belief in the Messiah and God in heart and spirit is what matters.
Revelation 7:9-10,14b-15 (TS2009)
After this I looked and saw a great crowd which no one was able to count, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, and palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Deliverance belongs to our Elohim who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ... “These are those coming out of the great distress, having washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. “Because of this they are before the throne of Elohim, and serve Him day and night in His Dwelling Place. And He who sits on the throne shall spread his Tent over them.
God's people come fromall nations and tribes and peoples and tongues. They survive the great tribulation.
God's 144,000 chosen ones
Revelation 7:4
And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of all the tribes of the children of Israel:
Revelation 14:1,4
And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads. ... They are those who were not defiled with women, for they are maidens. They are those following the Lamb wherever He leads them on. They were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to Elohim and to the Lamb.
God's Kingdom has a government which consists of the Son of God and 144,000 of God's chosen ones. They are taken from the earth and they comeout of all the tribes of the children of Israel, but as we saw explained by Paul, they might also be Jews or Israelites "by heart and spirit", not necessarily by blood lineage. These are the chosen ones that receive God's name on their foreheads which gives them protection from God's wrath in the time of the end (Revelation 7:3, Revelation 9:4).
Isaiah 66:18,21 (TS2009)
“And I, because of their works and their imaginations, am coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My esteem. ... “And from them too I shall take for priests – for Lewites,” declares YHWH.
Because of the Israelites turning their backs on God and worshipping false gods, God turns to the nations. I think it makes sense that God's people of the nations produce chosen ones as well.
Mark 13:24-27 (TS2009)
But in those days, after that distress, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers in the heavens shall be shaken. “And then they shall see the Son of Adam coming in the clouds with much power and esteem. And then He shall send His messengers, and assemble His chosen ones from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
After the Messiah completed His task on earth, of spreading the Good News of the Kingdom of God to the lost sheep of Israel, He went back to heaven. This marked the end of the first age and the start of the age of the nations. The period between His ascension into heaven and the time of the end is not mentioned in most of these prophecies, likely because this period does not have divine intervention on earth. Only in the time of the end the Son of God will return to earth and His messengers will gather the remainder of God's chosen ones, including those that are still on the earth at that time. It were His chosen ones that spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God to the lost sheep of Israel, so it makes sense that in the time of the end His remaining chosen ones on earth will spread the Good News throughout the whole world before they are taken up into heaven to complete His government.
Revelation 6:10-11
And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the slaughter-place the beings of those having been slain for the Word of Elohim and for the witness which they held, and they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, set-apart and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each one a white robe, and they were told that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Clearly, in the time of the end God's chosen ones who are already in heaven yearn for His judgement and ask when God will take revenge, which clearly refers to the time of the end. They were told to be patient untilthe number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who would be killed as they were, was completedmeaning that there are still some of God's chosen ones on earth in the time of the end. It also makes sense because they will spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all people on all the earth, just like their fellow servants and brothers did for the lost sheep of Israel.
The New Jerusalem

Revelation 21:2 (TS2009)
And I, Yohanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 3:12 (TS2009)
“He who overcomes, I shall make him a supporting post in the Dwelling Place of My Elohim, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the renewed Yerushalayim, which comes down out of the heaven from My Elohim, and My renewed Name.
Zechariah 8:3 (TS2009)
“Thus said YHWH, ‘I shall return to Tsiyon, and I shall dwell in the midst of Yerushalayim. And Yerushalayim shall be called: City of the Truth, and the Mountain of YHWH of hosts, the Set-apart Mountain.’
The New Jerusalem is the capital or governing body of God's Kingdom. It is the bride of the Son of God. It is theLamb's wife(Revelation 21:9). It contains the government of God's chosen ones who will rule with the Son of God. This New Jerusalem comes down from heaven to earth. It is also called the Mountain of God. In Revelation 14 the Son of God appears on Mount Zion. This is a mountain inside Jerusalem. It used to be called Mount Moriah and it is where king Solomon built the first Temple of God (2 Chronicles 3:1). Mount Zion in the New Jerusalem likely symbolizes the residence of the Son of God, the High Priest, the King of Kings (Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16).
